GA EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARDS
Graduate teaching assistants (GAs) are an important part of UNLV's teaching community. They teach many of the foundation courses, teach in laboratories, and sometimes tutor one-on-one. Regardless of their specific assignments, their contribution to the success of the academic program is invaluable.
Each year, the University recognizes GAs whose teaching has been deemed examplary. They are nominated by faculty and have to provide a teaching portfolio as part of their application for the reward. Awards are presented during the annual Faculty Awards Event.
